PROTEST BY MINERS
SIT-DOWN STRIKE IN WELSH PIT. DISPUTE OVER MINIMUM WAGE. LONDON, May 29. i Eighty miners descended the Wyndham colliery, Glamorgan, but on arrival at their working places sat down for 30 hours as a protest over the payment of the minimum wage. Officials will negotiate with employers on May 30.
