ROAD CYCLING

WAIRARAPA CLUB'S RACE. WON BY J. BRADER. A feature ot Saturday's race was the outstanding performance of J. Brader. who rode of! the one minute mark and after overhauling the 10 minute limit riders went on to record the fastest time as well as winning. His comarkcr, R. Copp, although collecting second fastest time honours, was beaten into second place by J. Duckett. Of the scratch men G. Little was the only one to achieve any success. He registered third fastest time. B. Dooling and G. Swain each had a nasty spill during the race.

After the race members were entertained at afternoon tea by Mrs Dooling. Bannister Street. The results are as follow: —J. Brader (Imin.). 1: J. Duckett (smin.), 2; R. Copp (Imin.), 3. Fastest time: J. Brader, 1; R. Copp. 2; G. Little, 3.
