ZAMBOANGA

WORLD’S LARGEST CITY. Zamboanga, a small town at the southern extremity of the Philippines Archipelago, is now the largest city in the world. It achieved the distinction as the result of a charter giving it a total area of 1059 square miles. Tokyo previously held the world record with an aera of 833 square miles, followed by London, 699 square miles, Las Angeles 442.5, Berlin 348. and New York, 310. In point of population however, Zamboanga is not even the largest city in the Philippines. It boasts only 101.048 inhabitants.
