DAFFODIL DAY
One town in France each year celebrates Daffodil Day, and that town is Gerardmer, in the Vosges. This fete or festival takes place every year just' before Easter. The floats and cars of a procession are decorated entirely with daffodils, and all those taking part in a daffodil procession through the town are almost hidden under daffodils. Even the house fronts are decorated with daffodils. This year the daffodil festival was held during April.
