TRANSFER OF ENTERTAINMENT ACTIVITIES SYDNEY, May 25. Australian and New Zealand Theatres Ltd., it is announced, has taken over the entertainment activities of J. C, Williamson Ltd. The new company, which will have a capital of £105.000. has also acquired leases of the whole of the J. C. Williamson theatres in Australia and New Zealand and comprehensive plans will be considered for the development of the legitimate stage and concert business as well as broadof directors comprises Mr K. Asprey, Sir George Tallis, Sir Hugh Denison, Messrs Arthur Allen, R. Denison, Hugh Chambers, Frank Tait. Stanley Crick and George Dean. The last-named three are managing directors. The subscribed capital has been privately underwritten by a strong gioup of Sydney and Melbourne investors.
