AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP. SECOND ROUND RESULTS. (Recd This Day, 9.25 a.m.) LONDON, May 24. In the amateur golf championship, second round, Cyril Tolley defeated Alexander Russel (Australia) 5 and 3. Tolley, who is chairman of the British selectors, was in magnificent form but played nonchalantly. He has every chance of winning his third championship. Hattersley defeated Morrison 5 and 4; Ryan defeated W. Thorburn 3 and 1; Ross Somerville defeated Ogilvie (South Africa, 7 and 6; Ouimet defeated Tweddel, 4 and 3.
