Puncec (Yugoslavia) was leading Shayes, 6-4, 4-6, 6-2, 3-2, when bad light stopped play. At Marseilles, Petra (France) defeated Nogues (Monaco), 6-1, 6-1, 6-0; Destremeau defeated-Medecin, 6-3, 6-0, 6-1. At Berlin, Germany eliminated Norway. Metaxa and Henkel defeated Haanes and Jensen, 6-1, 6-2, 6-3. G. Metaxa (Germany), who replaced G. Cramm, beat J. Haanes (Norway), 2-6, 5- 6-2, 7-5. At Stockholm, Schroder (Sweden), defeated Fischer (Switzerland), 8-6, 6- 6-0; Maneff (Switzerland) defeated Rholson, 6-1, 6-4, 2-6, 6-1. Schroder and Rholson defeated Fischer and Maneff, 6-2, 5-7, 6-4, 7-5. SURREY TOURNEY. WIN FOR MRS. WILLS-MOODY. LONDON, May 21.
