BAKERY DISPUTE

MINISTER APPOINTS TRIBUNAL. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, This Day. The personnel of the tribunal to £ear the dispute in the Auckland bakery industry arising out of the dismissal of a driver by G. K. Mathieson, Ltd., was announced yesterday by the Minister of Labour, the Hon. H. T. Armstrong. The tribunal is as follows: — Mr S. L. Paterson, S.M., Hamilton (chairman). Mr W. Newton, J.P., Wellington, former Secretary of Labour. Mr S. Tyson, Auckland, former inspector of factories. The tribunal will commence its sittings on May 26. It has been appointed in accordance with a promise given by the Minister in consideration of an assurance by both parties to the dispute that they would abide by its decision.
