An Adelaide woman, after having believed for 30 years that her son was dead, has just received definite news that he died in Darwin recently. He was John Joseph R'isby, about the circumstances of whose death an inquiry has just concluded in Darwin. Risby was a chronic invalid, and had spent seven years in hospitals in the Northern Territory. His mother, who is 89, wrote to Darwin seeking information after she had read the paragraph in an Adelaide newspaper about the inquiry. A description of Risby proved that he was her son.
