NEW INSPECTOR-.GENERAL APPOINTED. (British Official Wireless.) (Recd This Day, 10.35 a.m.) RUGBY, May 19. The King approved the appointment of Major-General E. K. Squires, Director of Staff Duties at the War Office, to be Inspector-General of the Forces of the Commonwealth of Australia, with the rank of Lieutenant-General.
