OLD RIVALS TO MEET. MEMORIAL PARK ON SATURDAY. The senior match at Masterton Memorial Park on Saturday will be between the Red Star and Masterton seniors and an exciting game should be witnessed between these two oldtime rivals. The Masterton team is a fast improving combination and plays determined football, with ■ speedy backs to take advantage of opportunities offering. The Red Star team will place a solid fifteen in the field, and their speedy backs should give the public the type of football they, are looking for. The curtain-raiser will be between the Red Star and Old Boys thirds. The Old Boys’ seniors will play at Gladstone. TEAMS FOR SATURDAY. Red Star thirds to play Old Boys at Memorial Park at 1.30 p.m.:—Williams, Rutherford, Cole, Orsborne (2), Newland, Jorgersen, Wyeth, Prescott, Gemmell, Corlett, Needham, Levens, Rippon, Campbell, Jaspers, Reid, Allen. Masterton juniors to play Old Boys at the Memorial Park at 2.30 p.m.:— Tozer, McCalmont, Simonsen, Healey, Vaughan, Hawk, Stewart, Percy, Wickens, Chisnail, Bill, Brett, Potangaroa, Reynolds, Petley, Groube. The Masterton thirds to play College at Memorial Park No. 2 at 1.30 p.m. on Saturday will be picked from the following:—Prout, Robinson, Wilson, Stevens (2), Harrison, Morris, Blake, Donnelly, Tilyard, McCracken, Shaw, Clement, Butler, Cunningham, McDonald, Pura. Players are to assemble at 1 p.m. sharp. Red Star seniors to meet Masterton: —C. Stewart, Peterson, Johnson, Howard (2), Carrig, Henson, Clarke, Barr, Duff, Ewington, O’Connor, Stewart, Cross, Harding, Smith, Warren, Patrick, Grantham. Old Boys Seniors to play Gladstone at Gladstone. Cars leave P.O. at 1.30: —O’Callaghan, Corbishley, Parsonson, Hatton, Denbee, Crisp, Trass, Bodie, Tredray, Cameron, Mitchell, Laing, Wynward, Seivers, Dyer, Rayner.
