GOLF CLUB COMPETITION. (“'Times-Age” Special.) On Saturday, May 28, the annual match between the Captain’s and Secretary’s teams will be played, with a picture and supper party to follow. The following is the Carterton ladies’ draw for the foursome on Sat.tirday:—Mrs Steel, Miss Corlet v Mrs/ Candy, Miss Stevens; Mrs Callander, /Mrs Crawley v Mrs B. Booth, Miss jHamer; Mrs Orr, Mrs Forbes v Miss M. Campbell, Miss Freer; Miss Welch, Miss Milner v Mrs Ross, Miss V. Corlett; Miss Smart, Mrs Clough v Mrs Mundy, Mrs Goodin; Miss Armstrong, Miss P. Renall v Mrs Brown, Miss Peters; Miss Lamb, Mrs Robinson v Mrs Riggs, Miss Moody. The tea arrangements will be in the hands of Mesdames B. Booth and Steel. CARTERTON v FEATHERSTON. Carterton will open its inter-club matches on Saturday, when games will be played against two Featherston teams. The A team is to play at ( home and the B team in Featherston.
