GOLF CLUB COMPETITION. (“'Times-Age” Special.) The following were the best scores handed in on Saturday in the L.G.U. and club medal rounds:—Miss Booth, 92-19-73; Mrs Candy, 102-18-84; Miss Smart, 105-28-77; Miss Welch, 101-22-79; Mrs Orr, 94-19-79; Miss Berrill, 104-18-86; Mrs Steel, 97-10-87. On Saturday, May 28, the annual match between the Captain’s and Secretary’s teams will be played, with a picture and supper party to follow. The following is the Carterton ladies’ draw for the foursome on Sat.tirday:—Mrs Steel, Miss Corlet v Mrs/ Candy, Miss Stevens; Mrs Callander, /Mrs Crawley v Mrs B. Carterton will open its inter-club matches on Saturday, when games will be played against two Featherston teams. The A team is to play at ( home and the B team in Featherston.
