RISE IN BRITISH INDEX. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, May 17. On April 30 the Ministry of Labour’s cost of living index was approximately 56 per cent above the level in July, 1914, compared with 54 per cent a month earlier, and 52 per cent a year earlier.
