STRUCK BY CAR
FIVE-YEAR-OLD CHILD , BADLY INJURED. By Telegraph—Press Association, DARGAVILLE, This Day.. A five-year-old child who, with its mother, Mrs J. Dropulich, alighted from a bus on the Te Kopuru Main Highway, was struck by a passing car. The child was taken to the Northern Wairoa Hospital with serious head injuries and both thighs broken. Its condition is serious.
