MEN’S CLOTHES

TWO NEW SHADES. Two new shades in men’s clothes have made their appearance —Marine Blue and Ox Blood. Marine Blue is bright and fresh, lighter than navy, and can be made in single or double-breast-ed suits. With proper trappings it is right for formal or informal wear. In town it should be accompanied by a black homburg or derby, stiff white double collar, black shoes and hogskin gloves: in the country, by a soft collar, sports or coloured soft felt hat and brown leather or reverse calf shoes. A shirt with wide-set stripes in Marine Blue on white or cream ground and plain colour cashmere socks of deep maroon or lighter blue than, the suit are correct for both.
