BLAZE IN MIDAIR
OBSERVER KLLED IN CRASH AT BRISTOL NEW ZEALANDER PARACHUTES TO SAFETY LONDON. May 14. A Vickers Wellesley bomber, believed to be one of those intended for the attempt on the Australian record, became ablaze in mid-air while testing at Bristol. A New Zealander, Flight Lieutenant C. A. Fisher, parachuted to safety two miles distant, but a civilian observer was killed in the crash.
