ON BOUGAINVILLE ISLAND. (Recd This Day, 10.25 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Reports have been received in Sydney that Mount Bagana, on the Island of Bougainville, in the Mandated Territory of New Guinea, was erupting freely, but as it is in wild country no threat to human lives is anticipated. The damage done by earth tremors and a tidal wave at Salamaua is estimated at about £2,000. Another mild shock occurred on Friday night.
