LONG DRIFT
PARACHUTIST’S ADVENTURE. PARIS, April 13. Jean Andre, a well-known parachutist, has created a sensation with the world’s largest parachute. After having jumped from an aeroplane, Andre remained aloft for 45 minutes arid drifted for about 32 miles. When it is fully extended on the ground, his parachute requires great weights as well as a number of people to prevent it from blowing away.
