EVEREST CLIMB
EARLY MONSOON PREDICTED. TIME AVAILABLE SHORTENED. LONDON, May 12. The Calcutta correspondent of “The Times” says the Everest exxpedition is concerned over the prediction of an early monsoon, which will result in the shortening of the time available to complete the climb. A month has elapsed since the Rongbuk Glacier base camp was established. It was originally anticipated that the final assault would be made before the end of April.
