TRUST LANDS TRUST

MEETING LAST EVENING. The monthly meeting of the Masterton Trust Lands Trust was held last night. The chairman, Mr J. MacFarlane Laing presided and there were also present: —Messrs R. Krahagen, D. Caselberg, L. J. Taylor, C. E. Grey, A. O. Jones, E. G. Eton and H. P. Hugo.

A donation of £1 5s to the Furnishing Fund was received from Misses Story, Coleman, Ingley and Gaudin, who recently presented a concert in the Opera House. The Masterton Y.M.C.A. wrote applying for a grant for the current year, and forwarding a report and balance sheet for their past financial year. The treasurer's report showed a total credit balance of £lO4l 19s 9d (No. 1 Account, £7OO 14s 2d; No. 2 Account, £273 9s 6d, No. 3 £67 16s Id). Accounts amounting to £34 13s 8d were passed for payment.
