OUTLOOK FOR WOOL
COMMENTS BY WELL-KNOWN
BROKERS. NOT MUCH NEW BUSINESS AVAILABLE. (Recd This Day, 10.20 a.m.) LONDON, May 11. H. Dawson and Co., Ltd., commenting on the wool outlook, say consumption by the home trade has considerably declined and the volume of new business available to the woollen mills is very limited. Manufacturers generally are not heavily stocked with raw material, but unfortunately cloth merchants and distributors have considerable quantities on their shelves. Merinos at present are reasonably priced and no further depreciation is feared.
