A GENERAL’S FATE
SUICIDE AFTER BEING ARRESTED. CONDEMNATION OF FRANCO'S POLICY. BARCELONA. May 10. The arrest of General Yague, a noted Spanish rebel leader whose suicide in a Saragossa prison was reported yesterday, is attributed to a speech condemning General Franco s Carlist supporters and also foreign interference in Spain. He led the recent successful attack on Lerida. He was previously arrested in connection with the failure of the assault on Madrid in November, 1936.
