PETROL FOR SPAIN
DESTROYER PROTECTS BRITISH SHIP. REBEL ARMED TRAWLERS DRIVEN OFF. GIBRALTAR, May 9. The British merchantman Refast, laden with petrol, left under sealed orders presumably for a Spanish Government port. Two rebel armed trawlers began in pursuit, but the destroyer Grafton went to the Refast’s assistance whereupon the trawlers desisted.
