ST. JOHN AMBULANCE
NURSING DIVISION MEETING. There was a good attendance of members of the Nursing Division of the St. John Ambulance at a meeting held in the Lecture Room on Thursday, May 5. Miss Barrer gave an interesting talk on air raid precautions. She spoke on the different kinds of gases used and their effects on the body. Some interesting illustrations were shown. The gases used could be distinguished by their smell. At the close of the lecture, Miss Whitehouse (lady superintendent) thanked Miss Barrer for her interesting talk.
Arrangements were also made for members to attend the hockey matches.
