WRESTLING
MOEN AND MEEHAN DRAW. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, May 10. Pat Meehan, IGst 31b, and Andy Moen, 16st 101 b, each gained one fall in a wrestling match at the Theatre Royal tonight, and the bout ended in a draw. Moen was several times cautioned by the referee for illegal tactics. Moen’s fall was taken in the fifth round and Meehan’s in the sixth. The final rounds were at times spectacular, but more for showmanship than for solid wrestling.
