CONSTRUCTION OF LINERS HOPES OF EARLY DECISION REVIVED CANADA MORE FAVOURABLY INCLINED (Recd This Day, 10.10 a.m.) LONDON, May 9. It is understood that hopes have been revived for an early decision to construct two liners for the trans-Paciflc service. The Canadians, who have been the stumbling block, delaying the necessary Parliamentary legislation, now appear to be more favourable, and are expected shortly to fall into line with England, Australia and New Zealand.
