WHEELSPIN
HOW TO OVERCOME IT. Wheelspin results in loss of adhesion. In this condition use the accelerator gently, as sudden alteration, in throttle opening will increase the tendency to wheelspin. It will help things if an additional load is put in the rear of the machine. When serious wheelspin on hills is the result of deep mud, wet clay, or sodden leaves, the hill may be conquered by returning to the bottom, deflating the rear tyres to half the recommended pressure, putting all the passengers in the rear seat, and trying again.
