ANGLO=FRENCH DIPLOMATIC ACTIVITY SUGGESTIONS TO GERMANY AND CZECHOSLOVAKIA DESIRE TO AVOID CLASH (Recd This Day, 12.10 p.m.) LONDON, May 6. The “Daily Telegraph” says AngloFrench diplomatic demarches on Czechoslovakia will take place at the weekend. The British and French Ministers in Prague are calling on the Premier (Dr Hodza) to urge the utmost concession to German claims. The British Ambassador in Berlin simultaneously will call on Marshal Goering to urge Germany to use her efforts in conciliation, pointing out that a clash might lead to the gravest consequences throughout Europe.
