HOME TEAM ANNOUNCED. (Recd This Day, 9.40 a.m.) LONDON, May 6. The Marylebone team chosen to play against the Australians on May 14 is as follows: Robins (captain), Maxwell, Fames, Stephenson, Human, Chalf, Wyatt, Wilcos, Edrich, D. Compton and J. Smith. MATCH AGAINST LEICESTER. SCORES IN PREVIOUS GAME. (Notes by “The Bowler.”) Today, the Australians, now in England, commence a match against Leicester. On their last tour in 1934, the match was drawn, as rain set in and the game could not be concluded. Australia made 368 runs for 5 wickets (declared), McCabe 108 not out, Kippax 89, and Bradman 65, being the chief contributors. Leicester’s first innings totalled 152 runs, and in the second innings, had lost 2 wickets for 80 runs. TEST MATCH DATES. Several enquiries have been made as to the dates fixed for the Test matches, between Australia and England. TEST FIXTURES. From the list of fixtures, which I have, the dates are: — Ist Test, at Trent Bridge, June 10. 2nd Test, at Lords, June 24. 3rd Test, at Old Trafford, July 8. ■ 4th Test, at Leeds, July 22. sth Test, at the Oval, August 20.
