MASTERTON MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS. TO THE ELECTORS: TOHN C. JUDD, a candidate for the Borough Council, will advocate the following if elected:— 1. Improved water supply. 2. More liberal consideration to be given to outlying portions of the Borough streets and footpaths. 3. New swimming baths, with a view to tepid baths being established. 4. Well-defined pedestrian crossings in Queen Street and intersecting streets; the removal of “domes” from Queen Street, which would be replaced by white lines. 5. More co-operation with the Government in finding employment for our unemployed citizens. Vote: John C. Judd. Vote: Progress. MASTERTON COUNTY COUNCIL. TRIENNIAL ELECTION OF COUNCILLORS. PURSUANT to Section 3 of “The Local Elections and Polls Amendment Act, 1926," I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE THAT the following Candidates (being duly qualified electors of the County of Masterton) have been nominated' for the Office of Councillors for the Riding of Te Whiti. As the number of Candidates nominated for the said Riding exceeds the number of vacancies to be filled, a Poll for the Election of one Candidate will be taken on WEDNESDAY, the 11th day of May, 1938. and I hereby appoint the following Polling Places:— The County Office, Chapel Street, Masterton.
