Miss A. M. Brown reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today:— Barograph, 30.22. Shade temperature: Maximum 65.4, minimum 55.7; terrestrial 48.6; sunshine, 16 minutes; rain, 1 point. Mr H. M. Boddington reports that 2 points of rain fell at Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today. The indications are for northerly moderate to strong winds to gale in places; mainly there is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather but some showers in hills; warm, barometer rising.
