PERSONAL ITEMS Mrs E. B. Booth, Masterton, is visiting Wellington. Miss E. Robieson, Pownall Street, Masterton, is visiting Wellington. Miss Sellar, Lansdowne, is staying at Paraparaumu Beach. Mrs Quentin Donald, Featherston, has returned from a visit to Sydney. Miss Sheila Kennedy, Opaki Road. Masterton, is spending a few days in Wellington. Miss Dorothy McGregor,, Sydney, is staying with Miss Chamberlain, Cole Street, Masterton. Mr and Mrs N. F. Blundell, Gladstone, have returned from a visit to Paraparaumu Beach.
Miss K. Wickens has returned , to Masterton from a holiday spent in Auckland.
Mrs F. Petersen, Essex Street, Masterton, has returned from a visit to Hawke’s Bay.
Mr and Mrs S. Massam, Karori, Wellington, are the guests of Mr and Mrs S. La Roche, College Street, Masterton.
Mr and Mrs J. Pickett, of Lincoln Road, Masterton, .will celebrate the diamond jubilee of their wedding on Friday next.
Mr and Mrs E. G. Norman, Cole Street, Masterton, will leave this week on a visit to England. They will be away about six months.
Mrs J. A. Doctor, president of the Wellington Free Kindergarten Association, and ■ formerly of Featherston, is visiting Dunedin for a kindergarten refresher course.
Miss K. Steven, of Glasgow, is an interesting visitor to Masterton, where she is the guest of Mrs T. F. Watson, Lansdowne. Miss Steven is a member of the council of the Saint Andrew Society of Glasgow, and, at the gathering of the local Saint Andrew Society to be held on Saturday evening will give a short talk on the objects and ideals of her own society.
