CHAMPIONSHIP TROTS FINAL DAY AT ADDINGTON. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The inter-Dominion trotting meeting is being brought to a conclusion today in dull weather. Earlier postponements affected the attendance, but there is still a large crowd present. The track is in good order despite the light rain which fell in the early morning. Results: — OTAGO HANDICAP, for unhoppled trotters:' 3.34 class, ljm.*? 5/5 Survivor, scr (Cameron) 1 5/5 Reward, scr (Frost) 2 8/7 Indolent (Wright) 3 All started. Survivor won by a head, with the third horse three lengths away. Reward was coupled with Survivor. Time, 3.30. WESTLAND HANDICAP: 2.51 class, IJm. 3/4 Bing Crosby, scr (Smith) 1 2/3 Red Ranger, 12yds (M. Holme) 2 1/2 Fremont, scr (Berry) 3 Scratched, Morewa. Won by a neck, with Fremont three lengths away. Time, 2.43. AUCKLAND HANDICAP: 4:36 class; 2m. 1/1 Captain Bolt, scr (R. Donald) .... 1 1/1 Wahnooka, 12yds (Donald) .... 2 8/8 Discord, scr (Rapley) 3 Scratched, Waikato Prince. Won by 1’- lengths with the third horse five lengths away. Time, 4.30 1-5. Captain Bolt and Wahnooka were bracketed on the machine.
