The New Zealand pavilion at the Glasgow Exhibition displays striking features, including Maori poles thirtyfive feet high, on each side of the entrance, trophies of the chase, examples of primary and secondary industries. Vivid scenic panoramas augment the attractiveness of the exhibition. The staffs at the New Zealand and Australian pavilions are working all night in preparation for the Royal visit tomorrow. In contrast with others which are behind schedule, New Zealand’s and Australia’s work is almost over. ROYAL PROGRESS CARRIAGE TO BE DRAWN BY WINDSOR GREYS INTENSE INTEREST IN SCOTLAND (British Official Wireless). (Recd This Day, 10.8 a.m.) RUGBY, May 2. Their Majesties will leave Euston shortly before midnight by Royal train for Glasgow for tomorrow’s opening of the Empire Exhibition. Intense interest has been aroused in Scotland over the Royal visit and State pageantary will mark their Majesties’ drive through the city to the Exhibition grounds. Four of the famous Windsor grey horses will draw the Royal landau, and they with the postilions and outriders, have; already arrived.
