Miss A. M. Brown reports as follows for the 24 hours: ended 9 a.m. today: — Barograph, 30.62. Shade temperature: Maximum 63.1, minimum 38.6, terrestrial 30.6. Sunshine, 6 hours. Rain, 2 points. The rainfall at Te Wharau during April was 111 inches, the total for the four months of. this year being 26.14 inches. In April of last year 1.60 inches were recorded. The total for the first four months of last year was 9.33 inches. The indications are for easterly moderate winds, freshening, weather cloudy to overcast, with rain probable, conditions cool; barometer little movement.
