PRICES & COSTS
DEMAND FOR CLOSING OF GAP. MANAWATU RESOLUTION. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N„ This Day. A meeting of dairy factory representatives and Farmers’ Union delegates decided to support the principle of closing Ihe gap between prices and costs. Dairy company directors and suppliers are to be urged to give support to the compensated price campaign. It was not thought opportune, however, to set up a separate organisation for the purpose. Control of the campaign in the meantime is left in the hands of the Farmers’ Union.
