Miss Brown reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today:—Barograph, 30.61; shade temperature, maximum 64.8, minimum 35.3; terrestrial, 28.7; sunshine, 6 hours 36 minutes; rain, 1 point; frost, 1.7 degrees. Mr H. M. Boddington reports that 4 points of rain fell at Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today. Mr Percy H. Nathan reports the following rainfall records for April:— Llandaff, 10.36 inches; Eringa, 8.12 inches. Tlie indications are for south-east-erly moderate winds, slowly veering by east to north. There is a prospect of fine weather, days bright, nights cold, and frosts inland. Barometer little movement.
