FURTHER NOMINATIONS CLOSE ONE MASTERTON COUNTY SEAT, CONTESTED. POLLS FOR THREE RIDINGS IN WAIRARAPA SOUTH. Nominations closed at noon today for candidates for the Masterton and the Wairarapa South County Councils and their representatives on the Wairarapa Hospital Board and the’ Wairarapa Power Board. All Masterton County vacancies, except that for Te Whiti Riding, have been filled by the re-election unopposed of the sitting members. For this riding two nominations have been received for one vacancy and an election will be necessary. In the case of the Wairarapa South County Council polls will be necessary in the Belvedere, Maungaraki and Dalefield ridings.
