Brown reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today:—Barograph, 29.88; shade temperature, maximum 64.1, minimum 52.6; terrestrial, 46.0; sunshine, 4 hours 15 minutes; rain, 52 points. There were 121 minutes of sunshine yesterday. Mr H. M. Boddington reports that 52 points of rain fell at Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today. The indications are for northerly moderate to strong winds, after about 16 hours veering by west to north. The weather appars likely to be cloudy and unsettled, with rain probable. Conditions. cooler. The barometer has a falling tendency.
