King Farouk accepted the resignation of Mahmoud Pasha’s Cabinet, but requested him to form a new Cabinet. The Cairo correspondent of “The Times” said in a message on April 25 that anticipations that the difficulties facing the Premier, Mahmoud Pasha, would not end with the elections had been abundantly verified. There .was even a possibility that he might be driven to resign. A crisis had arisen from the projected reshuffling of the Cabinet, which contained only three deputies, in addition to six senators and six Ministers who were outside Parliament. NO GREAT CHANGE RESHUFFLE OF THE OLD MINISTRY. (Recd This Day, 10.5 a.m.) CAIRO, April 27. The new Ministry is largely a reshuffle of the old one. The major posts have not changed hands.
