The New Zealand Ladies’ Golf Union autumn foursomes began on the Hokowhitu links today in showery weather. The course, however, was in excellent order, though heavy. The holders of the challenge cups at present are Misses H. Loughman and P. Norton, Christchurch, but they have not entered this year. ■' Eighty-two players are taking part in the foursomes.
