TRAFFIC DIVERTED SOUTH OF FOXTON (By Telegraph—Press Association). PALMERSTON NORTH, This Day. Owing to flood water rising near
Whirokino, on the highway south of Foxton, the road was closed at noon, rendering it necessary for traffic to make a detour via Shannon. The water is still rising.
