The Federal Prime Minister (Mr Lyons) has issued a statement that Air Chief Marshal, Sir Edward Ellington (Inspector-General of the British Royal Air Force) has been invited by the Commonwealth Government to visit Australia and report on the existing organisation and the lines of proposed expansion of the Australian Air Force.

Mr Lyons also stated that the Government does not propose to introduce compulsory training.
