Mrs A. M. Brown reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today:— Barograph 30.07; shade temperature, maximum 61.0; minimum 49.0; terrestial 42.2; sunshine 2hrs 12mins; rain 36 points. Mr H. M. Boddington reports that 39 points of rain fell at Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today. The indications are for northerly moderate winds freshening. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather; later weather clouding over; rain later. Mild; barometer has a falling tendency.
