Jordan had read the Lessons, the Last Post and Reveille were ded.The New Zealand mezzo-soprano, Christina Young, sang: “God Shall Wipe Away All Tears.” The Rev. George Graen, of Australia, gave an address on the spirit of Anzac. The organist was Mr. Arthur Mason, formerly of Sydney. Distinguished persons present included Field-Marshal Lord Birdwood, Lord Gort, General Sir A. Godley, the agents-general for the Australian States and representatives of the British Government, most of whom placed wreaths on the church war shrine.
