SECOND DAY EVENTS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. For the second day of the Avondale Racing Club’s meeting the weather is perfect and the attendance good. The track is in fairly good order and is an improvement on Saturday. Results: — HOBSONVILLE HURDLES, l?m. 3 All Irish, 11.4 (J. Mcßae) 1 4 High Star, 9.8 (Dulieu) 2 6 Kilberis, 9.11 (Mcllroy) 3 All started. Won by three lengths, with the third horse 2J lengths away. Time, 3.19 2-5. DOMINION HANDICAP, 6f. 4 Superior Guard, 9.8 (Stokes) .... 1 11 Hesketoon, 7.12 (McTavish) 2 2 Cintrace, 7.12 (C. G. Goulsbro) .... 3 Scratched: Tane Mahutu. Won by 3 lengths, with Cintrace a short neck further back. Time, 1.16 4-5. WAITAKEREI HANDICAP, 6f. 6 Dragon Moth, 7.1 (Vaughan) and 1 Superior Guard, 7.0 (McAnally), dead heat 1 2 Hutana, 8.11 (McTavish) 3 Scratched: Paint and Susan. The third horse was two lengths away. Time, 1.15 2-5.
