Miss A. M. Brown reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today:— Barograph, 30.16; shade temperature, maximum 56.2; minimum 52.2; terrestial 51.6; sunshine nil; rain 26 points. Mr H. M. Boddington reports that 19 points of rain fell at Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today. The indications are for southerly moderate to strong winds freshening later and veering by east to north, weather cloudy to overcast, with scattered showers or misty rain to be expected; the barometer has a falling tendency.
