THE REGENT.
“READY, WILLING AND ABLE.” Something altogether new in the way of a motion picture with music has been booked for the Regent Theatre, beginning tonight, when “Ready, Willing and Able,” a Warner Bros.’ production co-starring Ruby Keeler and Lee Dixon, will be offered to local audiences. There is a much more substantial story to this film than is usually the case with musical comedies. With a cast headed by the charming Ruby Keeler and Lee Dixon, supported by Carol Hughes, Winifred Hughes, Louise Fazenda, Addison Richards, E. E. Clive, and a bevy of beautiful girls, “Ready, Willing and Able” is certain to please the most critical theatre goer. Miss Keeler has never shown to better advantage than in the two dancing numbers in which she appears. Louise Fazenda, Hugh O’Connell, and Allen Jenkins in the chief comedy roles strike a new high in laugh records.
