STATE THEATRE.
“52ND STREET.” New York’s famous night club sector that has become known as the Montmarte of provides the inspiration for the intimate film musical “52nd Street,” which will be shown finally at the State Theatre tonight. COMING TOMORROW. “LANCER SPY.” Tomorrow at 2.15 p.m. and 8 p.m. there will be shown “Lancer Spy” included in the cast of which is George Sanders, Peter Lorrie, Delores del Rio. The story is of a most thrilling nature in which the acting discovery of the year, George Sanders, has a part which gives him plenty of scope for his talents. This realistic drama must make an immediate appeal to lovers of good pictures. The supporting programme is an excellent one. There is no charge for reserves, ’phone 1275 or 1322.
