POLICEMAN MURDERED IN PALESTINE SWIFT PURSUIT FOLLOWS. FIVE MEMBERS OF GANG KILLED. tßecd This Day. 12.10 p.m.) JERUSALEM, April 20. Arab .raiders attacked the Police Station at Beisan and killed a policeman. The police caught up with the fleeing gang and a battle ensued in which five Arabs were killed. From the scene of the policeman’s murder, two police dogs followed tracks leading to two houses, whereupon a collective fine of £5OO was imposed on the inhabitants of the town.
